Classic Game Room HD reviews the original GOLDEN AXE for the Sega Genesis video game system. This is one of the most iconic games from the 16-bit era and this Megadrive review of Golden Axe shows gameplay footage from this amazing 2D side scrolling beat em up hack and slash from 1989.

Originally created as a brilliant Sega arcade game, Golden Axe saw popularity with its Sega Genesis release in '89.
